Harpers Escape to the East Brunswick Library
EAST BRUNSWICK, New Jersey – October, 2010 ¬–The delicate sound of the harp can be soothing and wonderful. Just imagine what it will be like when more than two dozen harpers perform on Sunday, Oct. 17, at 1:30 p.m. at the East Brunswick Public Library. The musicians’ visit is part of the 17th Annual Harpers’ Escape held in New Brunswick, where noted harpers Grainne Hambly from Ireland, William Jackson and Sharon Knowles of Scotland, and U.S.-based harp teachers Kathy DeAngelo and Debbie Brewin-Wilson, teach traditional Irish and Scottish music on the folk harp. This heavenly host of harpers will be performing free, so save the date! Sponsored by the Arts Commission and The Library.
