EAST BRUNSWICK The body of California man who was missing since taking a canoe ride Saturday at Farrington Lake was found there by one of his relatives on Wednesday evening.

Police said the body, found in the lake at approximately 6:50 p.m., was identified by family members as the missing boater, Henry Cho, a 30-year-old from Chatsworth Cal.

Cho was visiting family over the weekend when he took out his cousin’s canoe for fishing on Farrington Lake. Several hours later the canoe was found and Cho was missing.

One of Cho’s relatives from East Brunswick, with whom he had been visiting, contacted police Wednesday evening and advised them he had observed what he believed to be a body in the lake.

The East Brunswick Police Department and East Brunswick Fire Department District 3 Marine Unit responded out into the lake and was able to remove Cho’s body from the water.

Paramedics from Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital had pronounced Cho dead at the scene.

The medical examiner’s office took Cho’s body and will perform an autopsy in order to determine a cause of death.
